On April 2nd, the emphasis was placed on fostering a nurturing and empathetic atmosphere for those with autism spectrum disorder. This initiative aims to ensure their complete integration into every facet of societal life as respected contributors.

is dedicated to enhancing social unity and promoting sustainable growth by equipping individuals with autism with the necessary skills to enhance their quality of life, ensure a more secure future, and foster their active involvement in society.

The Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination
ZHO
) offers globally recognized care and rehabilitation programs for 522 autistic students through its centers throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Aisha Al Mansoori, who leads the Abu Dhabi Autism Center, an entity associated with
ZHO
highlighted the significance of collaborative endeavors between organizations and personal initiatives to aid individuals with autism. She pointed out that although various approaches can promote their integration, the initial crucial step involves increasing public awareness, especially within educational settings.

In an announcement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), she emphasized the crucial part that timely identification plays in promoting inclusion, noting, “Intervening sooner makes it simpler to cultivate the student’s talents through educational focus and improving both their academic and social competencies.”

Al Mansouri further stated that the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination customizes its programs for each individual, developing specialized training plans and arranging site visits to guarantee that tasks can be carried out autonomously and align with the specific needs arising from each person’s circumstances.

Globally, the organization has conducted multiple sessions of the Bridges of Hope program aimed at supporting mothers, caregivers, and families of Individuals With Disabilities such as those with intellectual challenges and autism spectrum disorders in the Arab Republic of Egypt. (ANI/WAM)
